</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=ES-AR link="#0563C1" vlink="#954F72"><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Estimados socios del IXP-<b>MZA</b><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Continuando con el tema de los <b>OCA</b> (Open Connect Appliance) de <b>Netflix</b>, en este IXP contamos con la colaboración de <b>ITC</b>, que ya consiguió que le aprueben el envío del equipo; se estima que llegará en las próximas semanas. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><ol style='margin-top:0cm' start=1 type=a><li class=MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst style='margin-left:0cm;mso-add-space:auto;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'>El mismo estará <u>instalado en ITC</u>, conectado por <u>fibra propia</u> al IXP, <b>y disponible para uso de todos los miembros que lo deseen</b>. <o:p></o:p></li><li class=MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle style='margin-left:0cm;mso-add-space:auto;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'>Ventana de CARGA del OCA: de 2 am a 2 pm sin costo si lo toman del POP NETFLIX instalado en CABASE. Cualquier variante al respecto, deberían conversarla en la próxima reunión y que todo el esquema conste en <b>actas</b>.<o:p></o:p></li><li class=MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle style='margin-left:0cm;mso-add-space:auto;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'>ALTA NETFLIX: para poder tomar el contenido tanto del OCA como del POP, el miembro primeramente debe solicitar CACHE DE NETFLIX a CABASE y firmar CARTA OFERTA CACHE, si es que ya no lo ha hecho.<o:p></o:p></li><li class=MsoListParagraphCxSpLast style='margin-left:0cm;mso-add-space:auto;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1'>DESBORDE: El OCA evacua aproximadamente el 66% del contenido en forma local y debe buscar el 33% restante. A eso denominamos DESBORDE, entendiendo por desborde las películas que no se encuentran en el OCA, y cada miembro pagará en forma individual dicho tráfico medido desde el POP CENTRAL. Idem si hubiera carga del OCA fuera de la ventana horaria. <o:p></o:p></li></ol><p class=MsoNormal>Inicialmente los miembros del IXP podrán disponer de la capacidad del cache que no utilice ITC y la capacidad ociosa del vínculo de fibra hasta el IXP; habrá que ver cómo evoluciona el tráfico de ITC, cuáles serán las necesidades del IXP a futuro y se verá si es necesario implementar alguna otra solución. El esquema planteado es como para dar un primer paso en lo inmediato. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Agradecemos a <b><i>Intelisis</i></b> que se había ofrecido para poner su ASN a disposición de esta propuesta; por ahora vamos a empezar con los OCA que ya hay disponibles y, si más adelante se evalúa que sería virtuoso, ponemos en marcha la solicitud de alguno más en cabeza de alguno de estos socios. Sabemos que <b>Redes del Oeste</b> también tiene un gran tráfico de Netflix; podría ser un backup en caso de que el equipo de ITC no dé abasto.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Una vez más, el <b>espíritu de colaboración</b> que promueve CABASE encuentra eco en sus socios y hace posible que concretemos este proyecto para brindar un <b>mejor servicio a los clientes</b> finales, velando por la <b>sustentabilidad de la industria</b>.
